The Black-eyed Susan and the Baltimore oriole

Now I'm going to tell you about the Black-eyed Susan,Maryland's state flower.
DESCRIPTION:it looks like a small sunflower, brown in the middle and yellow on the petals.
FACTS: it became the state flower on April 18, 1918.They also attract many butterflies.

THE BALTIMORE ORIOLE
DESCRIPTION:a bird with an orange-yellow chest and black backs
FACTS:they are about the size of a teacup and they will lay about 5 eggs from May through June.
